The United States Tennis Association (USTA) engaged Geiger Engineers to provide Structural Engineering Services for their West Campus Improvement Project, part of a campus-wide expansion plan at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Three new courts - 4, 5, and 6 - were built side-by-side in a three-court configuration north of the former tournament courts 4 and 5, which they replaced. Permanent seating stands were also constructed on the north and south ends of the new court trio. Geiger's scope included producing structural drawings for the seating foundations and superstructure, assistance with the cost estimating process, construction administration services, and shop drawing review.
